Our Story
Arastirnet was founded in 2024 with a simple observation: most hosting review sites are pay-to-play. The “best” host is whoever paid the highest affiliate commission that month. The “independent” reviews are written by people who have never actually signed up for the service they’re recommending.
We decided to do it differently. Every host on our site has been purchased, installed, tested, and monitored by our team. We check uptime every 5 minutes. We contact support at 2am to see if they actually answer. We measure page load times from New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, and São Paulo.
The result is the most rigorous hosting research available — built on real data, not marketing relationships.
Our Principles
01 — Independence
No host pays to be featured. No host knows they’re being tested. Our rankings are determined entirely by performance data.
02 — Transparency
We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly. We earn commissions on some links — but this never influences which host we recommend or how we rank them.
03 — Accuracy
We update our reviews every month. Hosting performance changes — a host that was excellent six months ago may have declined. Our data is always current.
04 — Accountability
If we get something wrong, we correct it publicly. Our methodology is documented in full so you can evaluate our process for yourself.
How We Test
We purchase each hosting plan with our own money and install a fresh WordPress site using a standardized theme, plugins, and content — identical across all providers.
We monitor server response every 5 minutes for 30 consecutive days using automated tools — a total of 8,640 checks per host from multiple global locations.
We measure page load times weekly from 5 global locations: New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore, and São Paulo — using fresh browser sessions with cleared caches.
We contact each host’s support team at least 6 times through different channels — live chat, phone, and email — at different times of day including nights and weekends.
All data is compiled, scored against our standardized rubric, and reviewed by our editorial team before publication. No host sees our results before they go live.
